Biography
Lidia Dragone was born in Venice, Italy, where she began acting on stage at an early age and took part in international workshops, including at the Guildhall School in London. After high school, she moved to Milan to study at the Fabbrica Esperienza theater academy, based on the Meisner technique.
She was later awarded a scholarship for an Associate’s Degree in Acting at Santa Barbara City College in California, and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Screen Acting in Berlin.
She teaches acting and dance while continuing to work as an award-winning actress, dancer and published poet.
Her artistic path is not driven by the pursuit of beauty, but by a search for what lies beneath it. For her, to go far in art is to move inward — to strip away the flesh until something essential begins to live.
